Oh baby!

An amazing glipse inside (literally) the life cycle of other mammals.

Birds, in concert

This is the first time I've really seen this phenomenon on video. Too bad it's such low quality but still beautiful to watch. There's a photographer, I think Italian, who does some great black & white photos of this sort of thing too. Sorry, couldn't find the name in the few minutes I had to post this...was in Seed Magazine about 6 issues ago.

Light Art Performance Photography

This is some of the best examples of this kind of work that I've seen. Beautiful, well thought out compositions by this team of German photographers simply called LAPP. Check out more of their work and learn more about them at their site > HERE

Serpentine Pavillion 2009

This year's pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery is one of the best pieces of architecture constructed this year. Designed by the team SANAA, this structure is meant to reflect on the natural environment of the park both figuratively and literally. The amoeba-like form seems to naturally flow as if it were water or a cloud. It's a shame this will only be here for a short time. Since the Serpentine started it's annual pavilions in 2000 it has hosted some of the most important contemporary architects today including: Zaha Hadid, Daniel Liebeskind, Frank Gehry and Toyo Ito. Burial

It took this video for me to like this song by Mike Snow. I wasn't really into but the video definitely does it justice. Really high quality video shot in India.

Ain't Got No...I've Got Life

Another classic by the original funky soulstress, Nina Simone. Last time I posted a new video for the classic Feelin' Good and now is this epic live recording of one of my personal favorites "Ain't Got No...I've Got Life". Man, I wish I had this version on vinyl...I just have the studio version on 45, which is still dope. Her outfit and hair here reminds me of the cartoon character in several Miles Davis gatefold covers such as 'On the Corner' and 'Big Fun'. You'll want to watch this again so, bookmark it (or just bookmark my custom search).

VV Brown

I got a remix of "Crying Blood" about 6 months ago but didn't really search what else she had out. I was sleeping!!! Now, I'm not crazy about her music but it's different and works in a pop sound kinda way. I'm really feeling her videos though and it definitely helps that she's HOT...seriously beautiful...damn! Anyway, here's a new video which is just in time for Valentine's Day. Enjoy!

Check her out on myspace and watch more videos & listen to more HERE

Weird video of the week...

I really haven't seen any videos in a few weeks but this week this is the weirdest thing I've seen in terms of music videos. The music is OK but the video is great and has everything a weird video needs: empty airport, dying fish out of water, half naked girl (alone- in hotel and in airport), mysterious bubble that seems to stalk the half-naked girl...oh yeah and they show ariola!

Quantum of Alicia

I'm feeling this song...and I'm really feeling Alicia Keys here. Seriously, she's sitting on my lap as I write this. Neither of us know why there's no clips from Quantum of Solace or even more 007 references but her and I agree it was very tastefully done.

Sea slugs

National Geographic is more than just a magazine used a source for 'boobies' for pre-pubescent boys. The take pictures of lots of other naked stuff in the world too. Their photography is always top-notch and never gets old. I haven't checked this site in about 6 months but it's not like they add a new gallery that often either. Highly recommended!

In the picture is part of the Toxic nudibranchs series. You can see the rest of that gallery here.

Be sure to browse around National Geographic .com too! But beware, you will be trapped into looking and reading for hours!
